In his effort at constituting complete cabinet, Sokoto State governor Aminu Tambuwal has appointed the incumbent Sokoto State Chairman of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Alhaji Labaran Lumu Dundaye, as the General Manager, Rima Television (RTV).
Tambuwal also approved the appointment of Alhaji Umaru Ahmad as State Accountant General and Mallam Abubakar Shekara as Managing Director, State Media Corporation.
Making the appointment known in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Mallam Imam Imam, Tambuwal added that the appointments took immediate effect.
Other appointments according to the statement include five permanent secretaries amongst whom were Aminu Abdullahi, Mustapha Abdulkadir, Haruna Maishanu, Yahaya M. Gobir, Bello Idris and the immediate past Senior Special Assistant on Media to former Governor Aliyu Wammako, Malam Sani Umar.
Tambuwal, who approved the appoinment of Maikudi Dogon Daji as acting Director-General, State Protocol Affairs, also approved the appointments of Shehu Ladan, Sani Daudu, Bello Bawa, Ibrahim Umar, Aishatu Hassan, Ibrahim Dingyadi Bello and Umar Alkali as directors general.
