About 22 witnesses have testified before the Rivers State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal since it began sitting in Abuja four months ago.
About 200 witnesses have been listed by the petitioner to testify before the tribunal.
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the April 11 governorship election in the state, Dakuku Peterside and his party dragged Governor Nyesom Wike before the tribunal to challenge his victory at the poll.
The petitioners also alleged irregularities and violence against the governor, his party and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the election.
One of the witnesses called during the hearing of the petition, a traditional ruler from Khanna local government, in his testimony said he was in court as an interested party, who wants the right thing to be done.
He said in his evidence before the tribunal that in some of the polling units in his community there were no election.
Another witness in his evidence told the tribunal that no INEC Staff was sighted but results were declared at the end of the election.
