Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has again cautioned members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who are calling for the resignation of the National Chairman, Ali Modu Sheriff to desist, as this is capable of dividing the party.
Fayose made the call in Ado Ekiti, the state capital while speaking to nerwsmen on the recent criticism by some groups within the party challenging the emergence of Sheriff as the National Chairman of the party.
He stated that division within the PDP at this time would not do the party any good.
Fayose however appealed to all the aggrieved members to sheathe their swords and give Sheriff the needed support to rebuild in the party.
The emergence of Ali Modu Sheriff as the National Chairman of PDP received wide criticism within the party.
