Edo Political Platform for Good Governance (EPPGG), has commended President Muhammadu Buhari, for the choice of Dr Osagie Ehanire among his lists of ministers sent to the Senate, saying a critical rundown of the list indicated that Nigerians are in for better days ahead.

This is coming as the Nigeria Medical Association, Edo State branch of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), also commended President Buhari for his foresight in ensuring that qualified professionals in the medical profession were nominated in the ministerial list to the Senate to pilot the affairs of the country in bringing dividends of democracy and medical expertise to Nigerians.

EPPGG also called on the members of the National Assembly to ensure speedy approval of the ministerial nominees so that Buhari can have a cabinet to drive the change all Nigerians are yearning for.

The state coordinator, Comrade Peter Edobor, at a press briefing in Benin City, the Edo State capital, said the appointment of Dr Osagie would bring to bear, his wealth of experience he had acquired in both public and private service to the service of the country just as they enjoined Nigerians to support the President in achieving his change mantra for the people.

“Dr Osagie E. Ehanire is an outstanding surgeon and holds an (MD) of college of Medicine, Ludwig Maximillians University, Munich. He also holds post graduate Diplomas from the Teaching Hospital of the University of Düsseldorf and Essen, Germany in the areas of Anaesthesiology, General Surgery, and Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery.
