An Ijaw youths group, Niger Delta Peace Keeping Volunteer Front (NDPKVF), has commended President Muhammadu Buhari over the nomination of Senator Heineken Lokpobiri as a minister.
This was contained in a statement signed by National President, NDPKVF, Engr. Lokokiri Lawrence, while examining the impact Lokpobiri made in his senatorial district.
He said: “We the Niger Delta Ijaw youths are very happy with President Muhammadu Buhari for nominating Senator Lokpobiri as minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Mr. President did not make mistake to appoint him as a ministerial nominee because he did that in his elderly wisdom to add him to his change team.”
“The President worth commending for this nomination he did from Bayelsa State, and was based on his personal assessment of Sen Lokpobiri and found him worthy on the grounds of merit and proper investigation”.
