Godwin Obaje is hoping improve his goal tally for Wikki Tourists this season after netting four goals in the opening nine Nigeria Professional Football League games.
The youngster, who returned to Bauchi side after a brief spell at Trencin, feels he is on target to hit double figures this term.
“My aim is to continue improving as a footballer and to score more than I did last year. For strikers goals are very important and I want to bag a lot of them,” Obaje said.
“I don’t want to set a specific target for this year but it will be more than I have managed so far.
“It’s too early to make any assessment. People are talking about our home form with two draws. I don’t think any conclusions can be drawn from them. Besides, the two games were against formidable sides likes Heartland and Akwa United.
