Shooting Stars coach Gbenga Ogunbote has said his team lost a Nigeria league Week 25 game at Kwara United due to carelessness.
Shooting Stars fell 1-0 to Kwara United courtesy of former player Ismaila Gata. The Ibadan club won the reverse fixture 2-0 at home in April.
The former Sunshine Stars coach said his team conceded a careless goal which sealed the victory for the host but said they will focus on the next game.
“We conceded a careless goal, but we are putting that behind us. The focus is now on our next two home games,” Ogunbote lamented to AfricanFootball.com.
The home games are a rescheduled clash against Nasarawa United and Abia Warriors.
Shooting Stars have slipped to 12th on the table with 32 points from 24 matches.
