The governor of Sokoto State, Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has condoled with the people of Kebbi State over the death of former Speaker of Kebbi State House of Assembly, Alh. Habibu Musa Jega who died in a motor accident along Birnin Kebbi Kangiwa road on Friday.
Governor Aminu Tambuwal while at Government House in Birnin Kebbi yesterday described late Habibu Jega as ‘honest and gentleman who has contributed to the development of his people.’
Tambuwal also described late the former Speaker as an agent of change who had contributed to the political emancipation of his people .
On the recent Birnin Kebbi Central Market disaster , Tambuwal also commiserated with people of the state especially the traders over the fire incident and promised to donate to the fire victims in the state.
In his response , Governor Bagudu thanked the Sokoto State Governor and his delegation for the visit and also acknowledged the contribution of late Habibu Jega in the political history of Kebbi.
