Recruitment: Police Warn Public Against Fraudsters

The Police in Kwara on Thursday warned members of the public to beware of online fraudsters who may take advantage of presidential directive to recruit 10, 000 police officers to defraud them.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Ajayi Okasanmi, and made available to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin.

The PPRO said the recruitment of 10, 000 police officers had not commenced as modalities for the recruitment were being worked out.

“The public are hereby warned to beware of online fraudsters who may take advantage of the recruitment information to defraud them of their hard earned money.

“Please disregard any invitation for screening exercise at any stadium, schools and other open spaces as such invitations are spurious.

“The command will adequately advertise on all media platforms when the recruitment commences,” Okasanmi said in the statement. (NAN)
