Meanwhile, Senator Isiaka Adeleke representing Osun West in the upper chamber of the National Assembly has charged Oba Ogunwusi to build bridges of unity, love and progress across the Yoruba nation and Nigeria.
Senator Adeleke in a statement made available by his media adviser, Mr. Olumide Lawal in Osogbo, said his ascension to the exalted throne of Ooni of Ife is a clarion call to service and a big challenge to him, coming as it were as a “youth” who is now a father to all.
“The monarch should also endeavour to close ranks with all traditional rulers in Yorubaland and maintain cordiality with all, which on its own should be a lasting legacy for him and his predecessors.”
“More than ever before, this is the time for Ife and indeed the Yoruba nation, to live together in unity, peace and concord, so as to be the true custodians of our collective heritage”.
