Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has declared total war on cultism and other violent crimes in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni and three other local government area of the state.
Similarly, the Governor has given security agencies in the state marching orders to bring perpetrators of the evil acts to book no matter how highly placed.
Speaking when he led all the security service commanders to Omoku, the Governor said the current measure has nothing to do with politics adding that the aim is to restore stability to the area by stemming the tide of cult related killings and other violent crimes.
