There was pandemonium as fire gutted the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, NSITF plaza at Kashim Ibrahim way, Wuse II, near Wuse market.
According to eyewitness reports, the fire started at around 4am on Friday, and there was prompt response from fire fighters, on getting to the scene, tried their best to contain the spread of the inferno.
The properties destroyed were heap of carpets and foreign rugs reportedly own by one of the female traders in the plaza, two Volkswagen golf 3, one Volkswagen Passat, one Toyota DYNA 100, one 18 seater bus and others
As at the time of filing this report, the remote cause of the fire could not be ascertain and effort to speak to some of the fire fighters proved abortive.
