Besiktas pulled out of a deal for Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel last week.
Fanatik says the Nigeria midfielder has agreed personal terms with Besiktas and was ready to move to Istanbul.
However, Besiktas president Fikret Orman chose to veto the deal in the last hours of the summer market.
So Obi Mikel remains at Chelsea as second fiddle to Nemanja Matic in the Blues midfield.
The midfielder’s agent retains hope of reviving a move to Besiktas in January.
