Cynthia Morgan has joined the growing list of Nigerian music celebrities who are goofing around in interviews.
Call it strategic or just sheer ignorance, it is indeed turning out to be an embarrassing spate of blunders amongst the celebrated music stars.
First, it was Seyi Shay – a singing diva who is now notorious for her series of blunders (her awful pronunciation of ‘two’ as ‘tuwoo’ and more recently, her declaration of ‘EP’ as ‘Electric Package’ rather than ‘Extended Play’) which she has tirelessly tried to downplay.
Then, Kiss Daniel with his age declaration debacle on Rubbin’ Minds – a programme hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu – where he said, ‘About the age stuff, my team is putting out a press release on that. I would love not to say anything because it’s more than how old I am now.’
Cynthia has now followed suit, as the Northside act responded that ‘2×2’ is four and ‘4×2’ is ‘6’, when asked for the product of the mathematical equation ‘2x2x2/2-2′ on the first edition of the Bigger Friday Show on MTV Base.
The new season of the Bigger Friday Show premiered on Friday, April 29 with rapper Falz The Bahd Guy and Samantha Walsh as hosts.
