Nigeria’s men basketball team, D’Tigers, will begin their 2016 Olympics campaign against Argentina on August 7.
The schedule which was released on the FIBA website on Tuesday, showed that D’Tigers will take on Lithuania on August 9 in their second game.
Their next game will be against Spain on August 11, at the Carioca Arena in Rio. They face Croatia and Brazil on the August 13 and 15 respectively.
The final phase will consist of the top four classified teams from each group. There will be a standard knock-out system consisting of quarter-finals, semi-finals, bronze medal game and gold medal game.
The Olympic basketball tournament will take place between August 6 and 21.
